I spent last weekend in San Francisco, so needless to say, I feel less culturally bankrupt than before I left. Their Chinatown is hands down the best in the country. I had the most amazing bowl of pho with perfect broth, and I'm still on a sugar high from all of the Japanese candy that I consumed. Yes, those two things constitute a successful trip in case you were wondering. I hit up Haight-Ashbury for a little vintage shopping, and failed three times at trying to find a shop that could make a smooth latte.

I cannot get enough of this silhouette from Isabel Marant. It's such a versatile piece that you can dress it up or go casual with a tee and ankle boots. Which reminds me, the Jenny Boots would look so rad with this skirt. That seriously will be my next purchase.

I'm totally obsessing over these chunky bulky-ish styles for fall. I think if I were to purchase one pair today, it would have to be the Pedro Garcia Wedge Sandals. I've mentally styled them into at least five different combinations with my current favorites. I love the Burberry wedge boots, but I think I might tower over 95% of the population, and that would just make me completely uncomfortable.

TGIS! Seriously, I'm beyond ecstatic that I have no work today. We're going to ride our bikes over to the train station and head over to Encinintas to bike around and check out a few vegetarian and raw restaurants that our friends have been raving about. If you're contemplating seeing The Dark Knight Rises this weekend, then go! It's brilliant. The last Batman direction you'll ever see under Christoper Nolan. It will never be the same.

I picked up this skirt the other week from Barney's amazing sale that is seeming to never end. It's meant to sit a little lower on the hips, but I had it altered into a high waist skirt, and I'm super pleased with the outcome. I'm usually not into prints, but this one sold me.

How amazing is this denim dress from Just Cavalli?! I've seriously been obsessing over it since I saw it on Net-a-porter a few days ago. And this PS11 wristlet? Totally genius. If all of the above magically appeared in my wardrobe tomorrow, I promise this would be my daily uniform for at least one month.

I'm in love with my new little two piece from Letarte. So perfect for days like yesterday, when the beach was a little too chilly for an actual bikini. Well, for me at least. I'm always freezing unless it's above 70. We managed to score passes for the last day of comi-con! I think I'm still overstimulated from all that was going on.

Adrian and I spent most of our today walking along the beach, so relaxing. I would totally become a beach bum if I could swing it. I feel more relaxed, connected, and at true inner peace when I am at the beach than anywhere else. I'm thinking I need to start beach yoga again soon.
