Slip

Love it or leave it, lingerie dressing is major for spring 2016. From slip dresses to lace insets, this trend screams Kate Moss circa the early 90's where that's pretty much all she wore. Calvin Klein kept it modern and styled with skate shoes while Burberry added a backpack for a touch of 90's grunge. Most of us have some variation of a slip dress in our wardrobe and that's what I love about this trend — it's accessible. Thanks to Are You Am I, Nili Lotan, and Trois, for being ahead of the game so we can shop this trend early. xo

This vintage inspired top from Raga, kapow! Who knew I'd find it spankin' new after months of thrifting for something like it! Styled with reborn Levi's from Reformation and staples from Saint Laurent. Off to pack for Milan and Paris! xo

Gave this muted shade of purple a whirl on Sunday for an oceanside dinner. Color generally evokes discomfort in terms of clothing, but there's something about purple that I find extremely peaceful (and tasty). I mean, who doesn't love grape candy? xo

It's one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, now go, cat, go. But don't you step on my blue suede skirt. You can do anything but lay off my blue suede skirt ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫. Pretty cliché but seems fitting considering this is my first blue suede purchase. Disclosure: I may or may not have altered the King's lyrics. xo

So, I discovered UAL when I was in Nashville for Bonnaroo. Have you guys been? They're designer liquidators at ninety percent off retail and have five locations throughout the south. I'm talking luxury brands like, Céline, Balmain, Balenciaga — you name it. Picked up this jumpsuit and basically bought out all their Raquel Allegra for under two hundred bucks. Give them a go if you're in or around the area. xo

DIY'd this bandage runway top into the above with a few removable stitches in the back. Turned out pretty good and it's easy to remove if I ever want to revert back. Entire look sans the shoes are all pieces that I lucked out on this sale season. It's literally breaking me and it just started, haha! xo

Shot yesterday in between running around trying to hunt down a refurbished precor elliptical. One hour, five times a week, this machine produces the best results I've had in my life. Literally the only thing I do at the gym and the cost of my three year membership could've already yielded me a new one. Hindsight'll get you every time. xo
