On the black + gold for life plan. Finally accomplished swapping out all my ear piercings for 18K gold and it wasn't easy. Terribly challenging finding 18K in 18 gauge for 9 piercings, and on top of that, cohesion. What a tongue twister. Try saying that one ten times fast. xo

Possibly the best eBay find, ever! Chloe braided high-waist flares circa 2004 back when Phoebe Philo held the reins. Generally opt for all denim skinny but flares have really been grabbing my attention as of late. The wider the leg, the better. Such a nice change up considering denim is my BFF. Forecasting a plethora of flare posts in the near future. xo

For the second part of my collaboration with Nordstrom Rack, I attended their private shop event in Houston last week. They highlight a new trend each month, with the most current being safari neutrals, tribal prints, and casual basics. It's no secret that I'm a huge lover of basics, so it was a win-win when I found these on-trend pants topped off with a basic tank from T by Alexander Wang. My confession of a shopping genius is: I buy all basics in twos. This tank was no exception.

Every single piece from the Balmain spring 2014 collection is SO brilliant! Definitely my favorite collection yet. Narrowed it down to my three favorites and splurged on this choker, biker denim, and a boucle blazer. If you're looking for the perfect triangle bra for layering — highly recommend this style from T by Alexander Wang. Such a challenge finding a style that's minimal, supportive, and high quality. Need to pick up a few more before they sell out. xo

Twist

Back in California celebrating the warmth appropriately in a little black twist dress from the king of basics, Alexander Wang. A present from my beau last year that I'd neglected for far too long. Topped off with staples from Givenchy and The Row.
