Costa Rica

Thursday, January 7, 2016

Happy New Year! My experience in Costa Rica was so beautiful and I'd love to share with you! We rented a home in Turquoise View by Kalia Living for two weeks. It's a small, modern community located smack dab in the middle of the jungle. It's a thirty minute drive from Nosara. Nosara is lovely, full of vegetarian options (try La Luna and La Casa Nosara), handmade goods and jewelry, and their beach, Playa Guiones, is some of the best surf we've experienced. Recommend renting an ATV for transportation. We went through iQuad and they gave us a pretty sweet adventure tour through Nosara. For zip lining, we went through Hacienda El Roble & Adventure Center. Beautiful hike and they offer ten unique lines through the Santa Cruz jungle. For white water rafting, we went through Tenorio Adventures. It's a class 3 & 4 and the last drop is 12 feet! As far as beaches go, Playa Guiones for surf, Playa Rosada for pink sand, Playa Cuarzo for semi-precious stones and crystals, Playa Conchal for turquoise clear water, and Playa Carrillo for tree climbing (you'll see). That's all I've got. Drop me a line if you have any questions. Pura Vida! xo
