Red, Red, Red!

While browsing the Net-A-Porter sale this afternoon, a few things became very apparent to me. One being, that there are an abundance of red shoes that are on sale that are insanely awesome. The other being, (I'm embarrassed to admit this) that I do not own a pair of red shoes. I did own a pair from Zara, but the heel broke off a few months back. My first instinct is always classic when it comes to shoes, and unfortunately, the pumps and boots from Saint Laurent are the only two in this bunch that are not on sale. Next in line would be the Alexander Wang sandals, but guess what? I had them in my cart, and poof! just like that, someone beat me to the punch. I always snooze and lose.

I'd been saving this white two-piece look for months, and I was feeling matchy-matchy last night, so I took advantage of the mood and warmth, and went with it. However, the temperature dropped and I froze towards the end of the evening, and forgot to bring my jacket. Total Jen move. Luckily, my boyfriend acted as my jacket the entire walk home. On a side note, I have the matching skirt to this top as well. Saving it for something special just not quite sure what yet.

Five Twenty-Three

I've officially been in flats for three days straight, and my toes are thanking me for taking my SL boots out of the line-up this week. They're gorgeous, but they hurt like a son of a gun. No new shiny toys today. Everything that I'm wearing has been recycled through the blog a few times. You might actually see me in this blazer again next week, because I'm planning on pairing it with my red shorts from Bec & Bridge. At last, I will be able to wear the matchy-matchy red suit that I've talked about in at least five different posts, but who's counting?

Five Twenty-One

Super casual errand running meeting kind of Tuesday. Wow, that was a tongue twister. I managed to make two meetings and get three inches of my hair lopped off before noon. I wore my favorite destroyed IRO tee which I wore a few posts back, and these new camo shorts from Guess. Topped those off with my old reliable chuck t's and my favorite cross body bag. Which reminds me! I receive a lot of mail in regards to the strap that I use for my Balenciaga city bag. It's actually a longer strap from a velo bag. They should really start selling the longer strap as an option.

Puerto Rico Photo Diary

Last month, I had the amazing opportunity of traveling with the Juicy Couture team to Rincon, Puerto Rico, to capture the behind the scenes of their Juicy Summer Escape campaign whilst enjoying my own personal weekend escape. In just two days, I learned to surf, did a little beach yoga, and was immediately initiated into the Juicy Couture family as if they were my own. It also didn't hurt that we were accompanied by a top notch production team, and the most gorgeous subject matter, model LouLou Robert. My Rincon trip and the Juicy team will always hold a dear place in my heart. I hope you enjoy my captures on the magical island of Rincon, Puerto Rico. Statement Sunglasses

I've been dreaming about these vintage Chanel sunnies ever since I saw them on the likes of Rihanna and Mary-Kate Olsen a few years back. I even watched a pair on eBay that ended for way north of four grand which is crazy to me for a pair of sunnies, but a girl can dream, right? If I were ever to get my hands on a pair, I'd style them simply with a tee and denim as shown above. Wildfox makes a fun alternative for much less. Maybe I'll them a go.
