Tiger

Friday, July 26, 2013

(Sunglasses - Karen Walker, Top - American Apparel, Bracelet & Ring - Jennifer Fisher,
Skirt - Clover Canyon, Cassandre Bag - Saint Laurent, Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

TGIF! What a long week! Any plans for this weekend? At the beginning of spring, I logged in my journal that I would start taking at least one road trip a month through the end of summer. Destination always unknown. Out of the last two road trips we've taken, we always stop in Santa Monica and never leave, lol, which is only about 135 miles north of me. Tomorrow morning, the goal would be to just pass through Santa Monica without stopping, no promises, but we're going to make a concerted effort in exploring new territory. Such creatures of habit.

Happy Friday!

(Fedora - Lack Of Color, Blazer - Alexander Wang, Willow Romper - Reformation,
Bag - Saint Laurent, Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

Celebrated Independence Day in this striped willow romper from Reformation. This is the second color that I picked up while shopping on Melrose awhile back. I might possibly own way too many rompers than one girl should. On a different note, heading out to San Fran for some much needed culture and R&R today after work. Any fun plans for this weekend?

Happy Friday!

Six Twenty-Nine

Saturday, June 29, 2013

(Fedora - Lack Of Color, Blazer - Asos, Bag - Celine, Denim - Genetic,
Pumps - Christian Louboutin

Wore this black & white look to dinner tonight. Now I'm definitely questioning why I wore a white blazer to Indian food. I'm noticing spots of masala sauce all over my blazer as I type this. Luckily, I scored it from an Asos sale for under twenty bucks. Because, this sauce, is not so friendly when trying to remove it, especially on white.

Happy Sunday!

Sunday Evening

Tuesday, June 25, 2013

(Sunglasses - Celine, Top - Alice & Olivia, Denim - Paige, Bag - Chanel,
Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

I originally bought this bodysuit from Alice & Olivia as a layering piece, but decided on Sunday to wear it solo to dinner and a show. I used double sided body tape to avoid any further plunging for obvious reasons, lol. Definitely would not have felt secure sans the body tape. Also loving this new hoxton style that I'm wearing from Paige. High waist perfection.

Happy Wednesday!

Six Sixteen

(Sunglasses - Celine, Playsuit - Again, Belt - Vintage, Bag - Chanel, Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

In fear that I might be trending to own more playsuits than I do shoes with the fifteen that I've accumulated over the last two summers. Overkill at its best. I didn't realize this until I organized my closet on Saturday, which is definitely something that I need to commit to doing once a month. Also discovered my favorite black leather skirt that I thought I donated by accident. And that pretty much made my Saturday.

Have a great Monday!

Six Twelve

(Sunglasses - Celine, Blazer - French Connection, Bag - Celine, Shorts - Bec & Bridge,
Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

Finally pulled together the red suit that I've been talking about for ages! The reds aren't a perfect match but close enough. Carrying my new trapeze bag for the third time since I picked it up last month. I think I need to purposely scratch it, so I can get over the fact that it's perfect and new and that it's not going to stay that way forever. Am I the only one who is like this with new luxury items? It's really no fun. Any alternative suggestions other than slightly brushing it against a brick wall on my way into work tomorrow, lol?!

Happy Thursday!

White

Saturday, May 25, 2013

(Sunglasses - Celine, Top - BCBG, Bag - Chanel, Pants - BCBG, Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

I'd been saving this white two-piece look for months, and I was feeling matchy-matchy last night, so I took advantage of the mood and warmth, and went with it. However, the temperature dropped and I froze towards the end of the evening, and forgot to bring my jacket. Total Jen move. Luckily, my boyfriend acted as my jacket the entire walk home. On a side note, I have the matching skirt to this top as well. Saving it for something special just not quite sure what yet.

Happy almost Sunday!

Monday

Monday, April 29, 2013

(Sunglasses - Celine, Top - Torn By Ronny Kobo, Denim - Rich & Skinny, Bag - Givenchy,
Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

I arrived back in San Diego early this afternoon from my weekend escape with the Juicy Couture team. I had the amazing opportunity of capturing behind the scenes footage of the Juicy summer escape campaign whilst enjoying a mini vacation in the charming island of Puerto Rico. I had a surf lesson with an amazing pro who taught me a few tricks, and even had me standing up on a few waves — even if it was at the wrong time, lol. Definitely the most action packed two days of my life. I've counted about fourteen hours of sleep since last Thursday night, so excuse me while I sign off and hopefully crash until work tomorrow morning.

Have a great week!

Novak Jacket

Monday, April 15, 2013

(Sunglasses - Celine, Novak Jacket - BCBG, Blouse - Bella Dahl, Denim - A.N.D., Bag - Givenchy, Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

When I left coachella this afternoon, it was seventy-five and sunny, so I left in shorts and a tank not thinking that it would be fifty-nine and freezing when I arrived back to San Diego. Decided to run a few errands before I arrived home, and my heated seats definitely came in handy in between stops. I actually had a hoodie in my trunk, but didn't have the patience to dig through the unorganized chaos from my trip. On a warmer note, I piled on all the above as soon as I walked in the door and headed straight into work. Still awe stricken by this beyond rad novak runway jacket from BCBG. This is definitely a piece that I'm never willing to part ways with.

Shopbop is having their friends and family event starting today. Please enjoy code WEAREFAMILY13 for 20% off your entire order through 4/18.

Hope your week's off to a great start!

Wednesday

Wednesday, April 10, 2013

(Sunglasses - Celine, Blazer - French Connection, Top - Bella Luxx, Belt - Isabel Marant,
Denim - A.N.D., Bag - Givenchy, Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

This was my dinner and a movie look from yesterday, and I definitely switched out the pumps for flats directly after dinner. This entire look is recycled, with the exception of this cozy tee from Bella Luxx. I'm kicking myself in the butt for not purchasing the matching red pants to this blazer. I'm grabbing for it every other week, and it would've been nice to throw the pants into the mix when styling it. I just love the statement that a red suit makes. Any red suits out there that are noteworthy? Do tell.

Have a fantastic Wednesday!

Bianca

Monday, April 8, 2013

(Sunglasses - Celine, Top - Bella Dahl, Bag - Chanel, Shorts - Etoile Isabel Marant,
Pumps - Christian Louboutin

I've been stocking up on Etoile Isabel Marant S/S 2013 pieces for spring/summer. Totally love the Bianca Jagger 70's feel from which she drew her inspiration when designing this collection. I was torn between the shorts vs. the flares in this print, so I stopped by the boutique on Melrose and that definitely helped in aiding my decision. The flare pants were a little too loud on me, and mad props to anyone who can pull them off — wish I could. I opted for a pair of flares from the main line that are pretty rad, with her notorious lace up detailing and mini paisley print. Really looking forward to styling some of the pieces from her fall 2013 collection. Definitely more of a minimal collection than what we're used to, but still looks very Marant when it comes to details.

Happy Monday!

Souvenir Jacket

Friday, April 5, 2013

(Souvenir Jacket - 3.1 Phillip Lim, Sunglasses - Celine, Tee - Bassike, Belt - Isabel Marant,
Denim - A.N.D., Bag - Givenchy, Pumps - Christian Loboutin

I broke down, literally, and purchased this beyond rad souvenir jacket from 3.1 Phillip Lim. I was in a local boutique here in San Diego, Tucci, and tried it on, but they didn't have my size. I was actually relieved because the ticket was a little unrealistic for a lightweight bomber jacket. I then began to rationalize all the different styling possibilities, and the fact that it's not trendy at all (the embroidery screams a far east vintage find, or maybe that's me justifying the ticket). By the time that I decided to take the plunge, I couldn't find it anywhere — sold out. A week later, I was notified that my size was restocked, and not all sizes, just one size four. Meant to be? I think so. On a denim note, I've worn these pants in three of my last five posts, but who's counting?

Have a fantastic weekend!

(Sunglasses - Celine, Blazer - Bec & Bridge, Tee - Yves Saint Laurent, Clutch - Balenciaga,
Pants - Rag & Bone, Pumps - Christian Louboutin

This is the blazer to the matching pants that I wore in Sundays post. The initial plan was to layer them together, but I bailed last minute before heading to a lunch meeting. Print on print fright, I suppose, lol. I'm wearing all recycled pieces, including these Rag & Bone pants that have been conveniently glued to my legs since yesterday morning. The plan for tonight is to consume as much burger lounge take out as my stomach will hold, and attempt to stay awake for a movie in bed, which never works out in my favor, because I crash in the first thirty minutes. What are you guys up to tonight?

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Camo

Wednesday, March 27, 2013

(Sunglasses - Celine, Blouse - Equipment, Belt - Isabel Marant, Denim - A.N.D., Bag - Givenchy, Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

I finally caved and succumbed to the camo trend, thanks to equipment. They've mastered their signature blouse to an art. So much, that I swore that I would never wear camo, and well, today I did. I wore white bottoms again a little sooner than I should've. And, I will have you know, that for the first time, I managed not to wear my food and drink at lunch. I was very prideful on keeping my white pants white, until I took off my black leather belt. The belt literally tattooed it's own version of a belt on my new white denim. A new trend, maybe? Definitely an option if the stain doesn't come out, because I'm pretty smitten with these pants.

Happy Thursday!

Black

Wednesday, March 20, 2013

(Sunglasses - Celine, Top - American Apparel, Blazer - Joie, Bag - Chanel, Pants - Helmut Lang, Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

Despite the fact that I woke up chipper and on the right side of the bed today, my dark styling choices would probably lead you to believe otherwise. Technically, I am wearing a little white, lol. I ordered these trousers from Shopbop a few weeks back for an insanely low price. Major score. And just when I thought my dot obsession was coming to a halt, I stumbled across this blazer from Joie. Thinking I'm definitely fulfilled in the dot department now.

Happy Wednesday!

Grey Peplum

Friday, March 8, 2013

(Sunglasses - Celine, Peplum Top - Asos, Bag - Chanel, Pants - Work Custom,
Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

I was almost over peplum, until I stumbled across this top from Asos last month. For the price, the fit and quality are pretty awesome. I wore it with my favorite oxblood faux leather skinnys from Work Custom. Definitely still my favorite. They kinda make me wish it was winter all year around. The insides literally feel like they're lined with cashmere. I've searched high and low and cannot find this same silhouette in black in my size. Bummer.

Happy weekend!

Cropped

Wednesday, March 6, 2013

(Sunglasses - Celine, Blazer - Alexander Wang, Cropped Turtleneck - American Apparel, Pants - Cameo, Bag - Givenchy, Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

It was love at first sight when I set eyes on this pair of high waisted bagginess from Cameo. I immediately mentally styled them into at least three different possibilities, with the above being my favorite. The high and baggy silhouette also inspired the midriff trend a little earlier than I expected. I'm definitely down with this trend, and when it warms up a little more, who knows, maybe I'll bare sans the blazer.

Hope your Wednesday's a rad one!

First Monday

Monday, March 4, 2013

(Sunglasses - Celine, Sweater - Etoile Isabel Marant, Bag - Chanel,
Ivo Pants - Etoile Isabel Marant, Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

I adore this Ivo style pant so much, that I scored my second pair in the above chalk color last week. This sweater from the same collection was a no-brainer to layer them with. I was in a non fussy mood last Thursday, and this was definitely the result of that. On a different note, I relaxed the entire weekend. My first entire weekend off since my trip to Oz. Lounging in sweats and indulging in my favorite foods made for the perfect weekend. I hope that yours was relaxing, too.

Happy Monday!

Chunky Knit

Saturday, February 23, 2013

(Sunglasses - Ray-Ban, Necklace - Vanessa Mooney, Sweater - Goodnight Macaroon,
Bag - Yves Saint Laurent, Belt - Isabel Marant, Pants - Tart Collections,
Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

I schlepped around town yesterday in this cozy chunky knit to run errands. Highly recommend for the price. I wore it with my favorite leather pants from Tart Collections, which I'm going to miss dearly once the weather starts to heat up. My goal was to take it easy this weekend, but I had a late dinner last night, and I'm typing this post in a red silk dress and heels, and unfortunately, that doesn't lead to me hanging out on my couch. But hey, there's always next weekend for some R&R.

Happy almost Sunday!

Car Coat

Tuesday, February 19, 2013

(Sunglasses - Ray-Ban, Car Coat - Topshop, Blouse - Bella Dahl, Bag - Givenchy,
Pants - 10 Corso, Pumps - Christian Louboutin

I'd been coveting a car coat for this entire winter season, and one would think that it would be an easy find, but it wasn't. So, when I discovered the above on Topshop, it was a no-brainer. I'm now wondering how I ever lived without it. I wore it out Saturday with my new casual pants from 10 Corso. They're a new line based out of LA with an off duty effortless appeal. I own a few of their cotton pieces, and the quality is superb.

Happy Tuesday!
