Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi! Piled on two of my favorite Aussie designers yesterday in a flash and somehow ended up with cohesion (or not? I don't bite). It's never fun getting dressed pretty much blindfolded, and in turn, making others feel that they wish they had a blindfold when you walk into your Wednesday night Thai spot. Hoping the latter did not happen last night.

Maestro

Went boating over holiday weekend and ended up a little crispy. Was equipped with SPF 15 but obviously needed something a little stronger. The reflecting UV light will get you every time! Showing off my new sunburn in this risqué bustier from newly discovered Aussie designer, Nookie. Lucky me, it's offered in every color in the rainbow. Have been plotting my next color(s) all day. And sale season just started! So many distractions, so little time. xo

MADE II

For the second part of my partnership with MADE Fashion Week for Impulse, I styled this gauzy crop which I'm guilty of wearing in round one in black. Must own all things that fit me well in twos. And in this case, black and white, which are my go-to colors. This piece won me over with it's versatility. As shown in look one with flowy pants, here with skinny denim, and would also style with cut-offs. Layered with crystal arm bling from Alisa Michelle and a throwback Moschino belt. xo

Singlet

Pretty much perfect hand made leather singlet right here! Of course I'm plotting my next color and leaning towards white. Highly recommend. Wore it with the freshest vintage Levi's and every black and gold accessory that I own. xo

Hybrid

My latest Aussie obsession: Dion Lee. Cutting out fabric in all the right places this season. Partial to almost anything reminiscent of the nineties. Additionally, I've really been into Silent Damir Doma. Sold me on drop crotch (even if it's a mini) and I didn't think that was possible. Baby steps.

Stoked to announce that I've partnered with MADE Fashion Week to style two looks from their new line that's carried at Impulse in Macy's! A collection is released each month and is co-designed with Jenne Lombardo, founder of MADE Fashion Week. Chanel your inner Bohemian with their most recent collection, where you can find a plethora of loose gauzy pieces, ornate embroidery, and paisley boho prints. Definitely the look of Isabel Marant for less. For the first look, I chose a universal bell pant that can easily be worn in three ways: to run errands, as a beach cover-up, and at night with mid-heel sandals. Topped off with an embroidered top that I picked up in both colors. xo

Double

Generally not one for piling on so much from one designer, but man, the gold details that adorn a majority of Balmain's pieces compliment each other oh-so-nicely. Pretty much ruined by their biker denim. They don't stretch and look new after each wear. Also recommend these from Stella McCartney if you're into that. A fraction of the price, same quality, but without all the bells and whistles.

Recently partnered with Aussie label, Cotton On, to style a tee from The ONE collection which launches on May 20th. Being a huge lover of v-necks, (the deeper, the better) I naturally gravitated towards this style that I now own in all three colors. They carry plethora of quality basics at pretty reasonable prices. Styled The ONE tee with boyfriend denim topped off with statement boots.

Thanks to Proenza Schouler for providing me with the platform (pun intended) to experience what it's like to be 6'2 in this surprisingly comfortable design. Definitely one of those impractical impulsive purchases (these'll look great on a shelf) that somehow turned out to be pretty practical. Evokes 80's nostalgia in the best way possible. xo
