No new shiny toys here — wearing all recycled pieces from a few seasons or so back. Recently consigned a good chunk of my wardrobe so I sale shopped my derriere off today to make up for it. Prices were too good so I'm four coats richer in hopes of the temperature dropping south of sixty. xo

Military dream pants from Isabel Marant's fall 2014 show. Runway pieces that translate into the real world and that's what I admire about her designs the most. Topped off with reliables that I can't stop wearing — Gah, somebody take them away! xo

Can always rely on Isabel Marant for at least one good jumpsuit per season. This warren style from her etoile line is the ultimate. Style with flats by day and heels by night — a very practical addition that'll receive a ton of wear time. xo

On The Road

On the road last weekend with LoveGold where I shot the second part of our Wanderlust series. Broke out of my structured bubble for a little spontaneity. Have always preferred car over plane where time is irrelevant and the destination unknown. Give me tacky souvenirs, music, and bonding vs. pretzels, snoring seat mates, and dehydration — any day! Took the historic Route 66 to Arizona and then back to Santa Monica. Made a few pit stops at some pretty sweet rustic locations to snap these Pamela Love pieces that were made for road trippin'. xo

Bringing back much loved pieces from Calvin Klein and Isabel Marant into the rotation. Had to get in that obligatory weekly crop! Styled with overly reliable black accessories. xo

Was torn yesterday between fun and basic so I decided on both. Very reliable huaraches from Proenza Schouler are bound to edge up anything and elevate to supermodel height. Trade offs would be walking at a snail pace, tripping repeatedly, and tripping some more. Wish human bumper balls were fashionable. xo

Layered up yesterday in my summer go-to, Isabel Marant. Combining new with the old in this qods lace jacket and iconic carol sandals from spring 2013. The spring 2014 collection has been one of my personal favorites in some time, and that's mainly because it's bohemian at its best in which we all know she's the queen of. Highly recommend if you're in need of some killer festival pieces. xo

Typical schlepping around/errand running kind of outfit that I've never shared until today because I'm unsure how inspiring you find me in this state? More outfits like this or keep them to myself? Hehe. Won't bite if you answer the latter.

These cut-offs are the result of a DIY attempt at this pair of Saint Laurent chain denim. Wasn't completely satisfied with the outcome so I cut them into shorts — which I love because the fit is pretty spectacular. Wearing them with the most stellar crisp white blouse that I own — this signature two pocket from Equipment. I'm really loving a good bra slip lately. Thanks to Isabel Marant for designing this bralette that makes it somewhat acceptable for peeking through.
