Gold + Black

Monday, September 15, 2014

(Fine Jewelry by John Hardy)

Back at it with LoveGold reppin' the ultimate duo, gold + black. For part three of my series with LoveGold, we're talking incorporating fine jewelry into fall fashion. Couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than with these stunning 18K gold pieces from John Hardy, a boucle blazer, and multiple layers of black. Most meaningful piece that I'm layered in would be this coil ring from the Naga Collection. A collection that brings life to the Balinese legend of the dragon, a revered mythological creature symbolizing prosperity and good luck - something we can all use a little more of. xo

Best Fit Ever

(Alyssa Skinny Jeans - Abercrombie & Fitch)

Recently partnered with Abercrombie & Fitch for their Best Fit Ever campaign. Skinny denim has always been my go-to, so I gravitated towards their Alyssa fit for that highlight and a few more. They're a vintage inspired fit and play the part with antiqued metal hardware and pretty perfect distressing. Back pockets are strategically placed to allow the derriere to look super perky, hello, YES! A true range of fits that make it easy to shop by shape or even mood. Head over to Abercrombie & Fitch to view the entire campaign. xo

Bambù

(Fedora - Maison Michel, Bikini - Solid & Striped, Bamboo Cross Necklace & Rings - John Hardy, Top - Etoile Isabel Marant, Shorts - Vintage)

Partnered up with sustainable luxury jewelry brand, John Hardy, to style a few pieces from their iconic Bamboo Collection — strong designs with traditional jewelry-making and dedication to sustainable living. Bamboo is the central element in Bali often referred to as "nature's gift to mankind"— the natural source of inspiration behind their collection. The Bamboo Collection supports John Hardy's initiative to be Greener Every Day. With the collection being so in touch with nature, I couldn't think of a better place to style them — the beach is like a second home to me. Constructed of reclaimed silver metal, I'm confident they'll withstand time along my journey.

John Hardy is giving back with Earth Month. 20% of all sales from the Bamboo Collection, up to $15,000, will go to support Trees New York during the month of April.

Happy Earth Day! xo
