Pourpre

Wednesday, August 26, 2015

(Sunglasses - Gucci, Cuffs - Lanvin, Top - Barbara Casasola
Clutch - Givenchy, Trousers - Cushnie Et Ochs, Sandals - Saint Laurent)

Gave this muted shade of purple a whirl on Sunday for an oceanside dinner. Color generally evokes discomfort in terms of clothing, but there's something about purple that I find extremely peaceful (and tasty). I mean, who doesn't love grape candy? xo

(Top - Balmain, Trousers - Cushnie Et Ochs
Jacket - Balmain, Sandals - Saint Laurent)

DIY'd this bandage runway top into the above with a few removable stitches in the back. Turned out pretty good and it's easy to remove if I ever want to revert back. Entire look sans the shoes are all pieces that I lucked out on this sale season. It's literally breaking me and it just started, haha! xo

MM6

(Sunglasses - Gucci, Sweater - Cushnie Et Ochs, Clutch - Givenchy,
Pants - MM6, Sandals - Gucci)

Staying comfortable yesterday from the ankle up in a perfectly cut knit and slouchy satin pants from MM6. These babies I highly recommend. Tie waist, drop crotch, and adjustable ankle cuffs — can't think of a better combination. Bravo. xo

Layered In Black

Thursday, February 13, 2014

(Fedora - Maison Michel, Necklace - Chanel, Blazer - Cushnie Et Ochs, Clutch - Givenchy,
Coat - Isabel Marant, Denim - Paige, Boots - Saint Laurent

Piled on every black item that I packed for this severely cold day in NYC last weekend. The open back of this Cushnie Et Ochs blazer was my favorite part of the look, but unfortunately it was too cold to capture it properly. Layered on top is a recent sale find, this multi-purpose chic wool coat from Isabel Marant. It's lined with straps to keep the coat in tact if chosen to wear over the shoulders. A win for me because I always end up losing my coat whilst walking when attempting this look!
