Cut It Out

Tuesday, January 14, 2014

(Sunglasses - The Row, Bodysuit - Asos, Plaid Top - Myne, Denim - Topshop, Bag - Chanel, Hertford Boots - Burberry)

Wearing some newbies today, this nineties inspired bodysuit from Asos, and these killer boots from Burberry. When I initially spotted this bodysuit, it was sold out in my size, so I relentlessly stalked it until it became available. Thirty-three bucks well spent. Asos always has a nice supply of lows to mix with the highs. They never disappoint.

(Sunglasses - The Row, York Dress - Isabel Marant, Plaid Top - Myne, Velo Bag - Balenciaga)

A little nineties inspired action the day before I left to China. I'm shivering just looking at this series of photos because it was a high of fifty today in Beijing. Totally motivated to head to Zara tomorrow to pick up a few wool trench coats that I've been coveting. I have five days left to take advantage of the autumn that won't exist when I get back to California. Layer me up.

(Hat - Maison Michel, Sunglasses - The Row, Blouse - Equipment, Bag - Saint Laurent,
Pants - Myne, Pumps - Jimmy Choo)

The embroidery detail on these Myne trousers is so awesome! It's a shame that it didn't translate into the photos. I styled them with a very reliable signature blouse from Equipment and this quirky fara hat from Maison Michel. Best hats that I've purchased to date. Definitely worth the investment.

Happy Monday!

(Sunglasses - The Row, Mesh Top - Twenty, Plaid Top - Myne, Velo Bag - Balenciaga,
Leather Skirt - Alessa, Boots - Balenciaga)

I grew up in the nineties, so needless to say, I love me some grunge. If I could swing it, I would load my wardrobe up with every single grunge piece that Saint Laurent has to offer for F/W 2013. Oh, the styling possibilities if I could get my hands on this dress! Definitely my favorite from the collection. This trend is very accessible because most of us own pieces to create this look without much effort. Thoughts?

Enjoy your Monday!
