(Sunglasses - Celine, Garbo Top - Etoile Isabel Marant, Tour Bracelet - Balenciaga,
Skull Bracelet - Alexander McQueen, Bag - Celine, Denim - Asos, Shoes - Celine)

Super comfy errand running attire from yesterday and pretty much my go-to outfit over the last few days. Slip-ons have become my sneaker of choice, hands down. Which leads me plotting between this skull style or this leopard style for my next sneaker purchase. Crushing on the little pineapple-skull print that is all over Saint Laurent's S/S 2014 collection.

Enjoy your Tuesday! xo

First

(Sunglasses - Balmain, Nailton Leather Jacket - Burberry, Tank - Oak, Bag - Saint Laurent, Denim - Asos, Trainers - Saint Laurent)

Updated my sneaker collection with this retro seventies inspired pair from Saint Laurent. If you love and you're a size six, then you can score them here at fifty percent off. Took advantage and ordered the last size ten (bigfoot) a few weeks back. Wore them with my favorite denim style from Asos (new wash) and secretly hoping that they don't come out with any further washes because I really can't refrain myself from buying them.

Enjoy the weekend! xo

Chill

(Sunglasses - Saint Laurent, Tank - Pencey Standard, Necklace - Jemma Sands, Denim - Asos,
Shoes - Celine)

Was fortunate to experience summer-like weather over this past weekend, so I spent my time at the pool and beach. Above was my Saturday and Sunday cover up attire. Adore the cut of this new Pencey Standard tank (highly recommend) and it comes in black, too. Layered with very reliable staples from Asos and Celine.

(Sunglasses - The Row, Velocite Jacket - Acne, Tank - Pavonine, Bag - Saint Laurent,
Denim - Asos, Boots - Saint Laurent)

If I lived in a cooler climate, I swear I'd wear this jacket with everything. Trying to maximize its wear time with the few cold days that we have left. And this denim from Asos? They make more sense than any other denim when I'm getting dressed for the day. I think my knees are telling me that they like to breathe. The same silhouette in black arrived over the weekend, so that'll help break up some of the monotony. At least color wise.

(Sunglasses - Celine, Tank - Oak, Jacket - Alexander Wang, Denim - Asos, Bag - Givenchy,
Boots - Saint Laurent)

Absolutely cannot quit this Oak tank. Layers perfectly with almost everything that I wear, and it doesn't pill. A win-win! Wore it with new denim from Asos (highly recommend) and this Alexander Wang jacket that I scored from Saks for fifty percent off on Black Friday.

Cut It Out

Tuesday, January 14, 2014

(Sunglasses - The Row, Bodysuit - Asos, Plaid Top - Myne, Denim - Topshop, Bag - Chanel, Hertford Boots - Burberry)

Wearing some newbies today, this nineties inspired bodysuit from Asos, and these killer boots from Burberry. When I initially spotted this bodysuit, it was sold out in my size, so I relentlessly stalked it until it became available. Thirty-three bucks well spent. Asos always has a nice supply of lows to mix with the highs. They never disappoint.

Rails

Wednesday, January 8, 2014

(Sunglasses - Balmain, Plaid Top - Rails, Bag - Saint Laurent, Tank - Oak, Belt - Saint Laurent, Denim - Asos, Boots - Saint Laurent)

In the lighter wash of my beloved Asos denim that I now own in three colors. Ordered them in black yesterday because they're way too good. How often do you find a great pair of denim for under sixty bucks? For me, not very often. Working on an update to my Saint Laurent boots. I've damaged and repaired them so many times that I might have a second career as a cobbler. Crushing hard on the simplicity of this pair.

(Denim - Asos, Hertford Boots - Burberry)

A grungy dream from Burberry and I never want to wake up. Scored at sixty percent off at
my-wardrobe. Couldn't think of a better update to my Balenciaga derby boots. Thoughts?

Nailton

(Sunglasses - Balmain, Tank - Oak, Nailton Moto Jacket - Burberry Brit, Denim - Asos,
Ring - Jennifer Fisher, Boots - Saint Laurent)

I'd been coveting a leather moto jacket with gold hardware for ages. Not only are they rare to come by — finding one that's done right can be equally as challenging. This style from Burberry Brit is beyond perfect. Scored the last piece on sale from the very reliable Net-a-porter. If interested, still full price here. Layered with very matchy-matchy sunnies from Balmain and perfectly blown out denim from Asos. Highly recommend this denim. So impressed by this pair that I ordered in two additional washes.

Happy Holidays!

Sportswear

(Sunglasses - Ray-Ban, Top - Lovers + Friends, Blazer - Asos, Bag - Saint Laurent,
Ring - Jennifer Fisher, Leather Track Pants - Lovers + Friends, Pumps - Jimmy Choo)

I've been long overdue for a sporty look, not because I don't love this trend, it's because I couldn't find the right pieces that meshed with my style. My first attempt at wearing leather track pants ended up in a total disaster. I sat down for a lunch meeting and literally blew out the waist band and then some. I'm sure you get the point. Lucky me, I was wearing a long blazer to hide the easy breezy-ness that was going down on my lower half. I decided to give it another go (and sized up) with these faux leather track pants from Lovers + Friends. I made it through my entire work day sans a blowout. Test passed.

Enjoy your weekend!

Six Twenty-Nine

Saturday, June 29, 2013

(Fedora - Lack Of Color, Blazer - Asos, Bag - Celine, Denim - Genetic,
Pumps - Christian Louboutin

Wore this black & white look to dinner tonight. Now I'm definitely questioning why I wore a white blazer to Indian food. I'm noticing spots of masala sauce all over my blazer as I type this. Luckily, I scored it from an Asos sale for under twenty bucks. Because, this sauce, is not so friendly when trying to remove it, especially on white.

Happy Sunday!

(Fedora - Rag & Bone, Raglan Sweater - Bella Luxx, Bag - Givenchy, Denim - A.N.D.,
Brogues - Asos

I'm so smitten with my black raglan from Bella Luxx, that I ordered it in the above combo last week. And I managed to remove the belt stain from my white denim, so I wore them again today sans the belt. I definitely did a ton of errand running today, so my reliable brogues from Asos got me from A to B quicker than my pumps would've, and my feet feel just wonderful as I type this. I'm usually hitting up Adrian for a foot rub at this point. If he connects the two, he'll probably take me flat shopping this weekend, lol.

Happy Tuesday!

Grey Peplum

Friday, March 8, 2013

(Sunglasses - Celine, Peplum Top - Asos, Bag - Chanel, Pants - Work Custom,
Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

I was almost over peplum, until I stumbled across this top from Asos last month. For the price, the fit and quality are pretty awesome. I wore it with my favorite oxblood faux leather skinnys from Work Custom. Definitely still my favorite. They kinda make me wish it was winter all year around. The insides literally feel like they're lined with cashmere. I've searched high and low and cannot find this same silhouette in black in my size. Bummer.

Happy weekend!

Last Sunday

Tuesday, February 12, 2013

(Fedora - Rag & Bone, Bodysuit - Asos, Blazer - Asos, Leather Pants - Tart, Bag - Givenchy,
Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

Sundays are generally very casual for me, with the exception of last Sunday, as I was in meetings all day. I wore a few of my new favorites, this Asos blazer and body, and my new fedora from Rag & Bone, that I fell in love with at first site. It's definitely a nice update to my black fedora, which I think I might wear a little too much. I picked up a pretty rad Eugenia Kim marine cap from the Barney's Warehouse sale that arrived in the mail yesterday. Pretty stoked as I'd been coveting one all winter. It's cashmere, so I have a few months before it becomes not wearable.

Happy Tuesday!

Casual Sunday

Sunday, January 13, 2013

(Fedora - Asos, Sweater - Wandering Minds, Bag - Givenchy, Leather Pants - Tart,
Tiger Flats - Kenzo)

After sleeping almost twenty hours combined over the last two nights, I have officially conquered my jet lag. It'll be so nice to get back to work tomorrow in full force. Last week, I was literally a walking zombie, lights were on and nobody was home, lol.

Today, I wore a few of my favorites that I've recycled here and there. My new and shiny toys would be these Kenzo tiger flats. Just when I thought I was tiring of the Kenzo tiger, boom, they slapped him on flats, and leaf green ones at that. I've been living in them since they came on Friday.

Enjoy your week!

Susanna

Saturday, December 8, 2012

(Fedora - Asos, Sunglasses - Ray-ban, Sweater - Wandering Minds, Bag - Yves Saint Laurent,
Belt - Isabel Marant, Shorts - Ksubi, Boots - Chloe)

My Chloe Susanna boots have been conveniently glued to my feet ever since they arrived last Tuesday. I knew instantly that this was one of the best purchases that I have ever made. Insane craftsmanship, buttery soft leather, and every detail is beyond perfection. Obsessed would be putting it lightly. Happy happy camper!

Enjoy your Saturday!

Black

Thursday, December 6, 2012

(Hat - Nasty Gal, Dress - Asos, Bag - Chanel, Berry Boots - Isabel Marant)

Never underestimate the power of a basic black dress, and an inexpensive one at that. I found this dress on Asos during their black Friday sale, and after the discount, it ended up being twenty seven dollars. That allowed me to splurge on other things, including these Isabel Marant berry boots that I'd been after for months. Unfortunately, they were not on sale. I'm almost positive that they wouldn't have made it to that point, as it seems to be a pretty popular style. Or maybe that's me justifying paying full price. Boo.

Happy Thursday!

Boyfriend Cozy

Tuesday, November 27, 2012

(Sunglasses - Celine, Sweater - American Apparel, Bag - Yves Saint Laurent,
Belt - Isabel Marant, Denim - Asos, Heels - Christian Louboutin)

I have officially discovered the best boyfriend jeans on the planet, and they're from Asos, and you all need a pair, I promise. I own many pairs, but they've all been on a wham bam thank you ma'am basis, until I discovered this amazing find. I wore them with my new AA sweater (which I need in black now, too, shocker, I know) and my favorite black accessories for a little schlepping around errand running kind of day. I couldn't have been any more cozy. Even in my PJ's.

Hope your week's off to a great start!
