Looking for a back up fedora that's worthy of trading places with this one a few times per week. I've come to terms with the fact that I'm a crazy hat lady, and I feel naked at most times without anything on my head. I found an insane style from Maison Michel, but for the ticket, I might end up sleeping with it on to justify the price. Please leave me a comment if you have any other fedora suggestions.

I recently teamed up with Brian Atwood to put one of their fall collection handbags to the test. I chose their Grace bag because it's the perfect size to fit all my belongings to take me from day to night. I was able to fit paperwork and gym clothes in addition to all of my other necessities. The wine croc combo is my favorite of the three that are offered in this style. And how charming is this little tassel? Icing on the cake!

Torrey Pines

I spent Sunday enjoying beach life at Torrey Pines with my love. We forgot the most important thing to bring to the beach besides water, sunblock. Needless to say, we both started to burn after about two hours in the sun. We decided that it was more important to layer up and belt out 80's pop tracks on Pandora rather than leave this relaxing spot behind. Such a perfect day.

Layered up in all jewelry from Brooklyn designer, Alimonada. Their knuckle rings are minimal perfection, and for the price, all your fingers can party! Also wearing their spike and circle necklaces which I'm totally digging. Digging as much as this floppy fedora that has been conveniently glued to my head since Monday. Today it was kind of a no-brainer once I slipped into this crochet dress.

Matched the gloomy weather that we've been experiencing with this head to toe all black look. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em! Decided it was time to debut what I feel is the most perfect cross body bag ever designed, the Saint Laurent Cassandre bag. This bag is named after Ukrainian-French painter, Cassandre, pseudonym of Adolphe Jean-Marie Mouron, who is also the creative designer behind the iconic YSL Logo. The classic design of this bag, topped off with his brilliantly designed logo, had me awestruck from the minute I laid eyes on it. Definitely a piece that I'll never part ways with.

Lounged around yesterday in this cozy look wearing a blouse from Bella Dahl and loose knit pants from Our Prince Of Peace. Topped off with an oversized fedora from Lack Of Color. Found the perfect spot around the corner from our building to snap these photos. They pretty much sum of my Sunday. Relaxing and carefree.

Black Maxi

I celebrated Adrian's birthday last Friday in this all black look, wearing my newest maxi from For Love & Lemons. We started off at our favorite spot for Indian food, and had really good intentions on going out afterwards, but per the usual, we were old folks in bed crashing before midnight, lol. Comi-Con starts this Wednesday, so we decided to save all our energy for all the fun that takes our downtown neighborhood by storm. Have you guys ever attended the event? Highly recommend!

Wearing this killer wrap top from Maurie & Eve that I've styled a few times within the past year. Topped off with basic staples that I can't get enough of. Found the perfect mini Saint Laurent cross body bag over the weekend that might give this Chanel mini a run for its money. Not sure if I really need it, but I sure do want it. If I'm still lusting over it by end of July, it's on!

Celebrated Independence Day in this striped willow romper from Reformation. This is the second color that I picked up while shopping on Melrose awhile back. I might possibly own way too many rompers than one girl should. On a different note, heading out to San Fran for some much needed culture and R&R today after work. Any fun plans for this weekend?

Wore this black & white look to dinner tonight. Now I'm definitely questioning why I wore a white blazer to Indian food. I'm noticing spots of masala sauce all over my blazer as I type this. Luckily, I scored it from an Asos sale for under twenty bucks. Because, this sauce, is not so friendly when trying to remove it, especially on white.

Kept it simple today in mainly all black with the exception of this cozy sweater that I picked up while shopping on Melrose last month. Crazy that it's June and I was freezing today in a sweater and denim. I'm hoping for nice beach weather this weekend, so I can bum it and catch up on some reading. Fingers and toes crossed. Bring on the heat!

Willow Romper

Was in one of those all black moods yesterday, so I decided to break out the new romper that I picked up while shopping on Melrose last month. Adore the silhouette so much that I picked it up in two colors per my usual shopping habits. Attempted to order it in a third color once I arrived home that day — so glad that it was sold out in my size, lol. Finally scored a new black fedora after destroying my favorite of all time on my flight home from Sydney. I crashed for about five hours with both feet on top of it. Needless to say, the shape was never the same again.

This bright fedora added just the right amount of color to my almost all black ensemble that I wore out yesterday. I'm noticing that my style is slowly progressing into an all black phase again, but don't worry, I'm totally happy, lol. It just creates such a clean and non-fussy look that it's terribly hard for me to resist. I'm actually wearing all black again as I type this post, which is going to be my next post, so I vow to bring color after that, promise.
