Wore this black & white look to dinner tonight. Now I'm definitely questioning why I wore a white blazer to Indian food. I'm noticing spots of masala sauce all over my blazer as I type this. Luckily, I scored it from an Asos sale for under twenty bucks. Because, this sauce, is not so friendly when trying to remove it, especially on white.

Sunday Evening

I originally bought this bodysuit from Alice & Olivia as a layering piece, but decided on Sunday to wear it solo to dinner and a show. I used double sided body tape to avoid any further plunging for obvious reasons, lol. Definitely would not have felt secure sans the body tape. Also loving this new hoxton style that I'm wearing from Paige. High waist perfection.

Summer

Wore this stunning two piece from BCBG Max Azria on Saturday evening. I'd been saving this look for the right occasion, and the first weekend of summer felt more than appropriate. Such a wonderful start to summer, with much needed R&R at the beach on Saturday, and today, I spent my afternoon getting a manicure and pedicure. Hope your weekend was relaxing as well.

Basic Twist

I love a good tee, and the versatility of this being basic from the front with a twist of lace in the back. It's such a comfy tee, that this is my second time wearing it this week. So there you have it, they definitely get my vote!

Six Sixteen

In fear that I might be trending to own more playsuits than I do shoes with the fifteen that I've accumulated over the last two summers. Overkill at its best. I didn't realize this until I organized my closet on Saturday, which is definitely something that I need to commit to doing once a month. Also discovered my favorite black leather skirt that I thought I donated by accident. And that pretty much made my Saturday.

Kept it simple today in mainly all black with the exception of this cozy sweater that I picked up while shopping on Melrose last month. Crazy that it's June and I was freezing today in a sweater and denim. I'm hoping for nice beach weather this weekend, so I can bum it and catch up on some reading. Fingers and toes crossed. Bring on the heat!

Six Twelve

Finally pulled together the red suit that I've been talking about for ages! The reds aren't a perfect match but close enough. Carrying my new trapeze bag for the third time since I picked it up last month. I think I need to purposely scratch it, so I can get over the fact that it's perfect and new and that it's not going to stay that way forever. Am I the only one who is like this with new luxury items? It's really no fun. Any alternative suggestions other than slightly brushing it against a brick wall on my way into work tomorrow, lol?!

Willow Romper

Was in one of those all black moods yesterday, so I decided to break out the new romper that I picked up while shopping on Melrose last month. Adore the silhouette so much that I picked it up in two colors per my usual shopping habits. Attempted to order it in a third color once I arrived home that day — so glad that it was sold out in my size, lol. Finally scored a new black fedora after destroying my favorite of all time on my flight home from Sydney. I crashed for about five hours with both feet on top of it. Needless to say, the shape was never the same again.

I've been dying over this dress ever since I spotted it months ago in the IRO S/S 2013 lookbook. I immediately thought of Coachella, and began searching high and low only to find that it didn't hit most sites until a few weeks after the festival. I happened to be searching Farfetch for my SL boots in leather, and stumbled across this dress in size small from a boutique in Poland for almost thirty percent off of what other boutiques were selling it for. So that was a no-brainer. I find the best deals on Farfetch. Do any of you shop the site?

Six Three

This was my Saturday night out on the town outfit from yesterday evening. Well, that was the plan. We ended up at at our favorite pizza place and a movie instead. Not quite sure how that happened, but I have a sneaking suspicion it's because I'm getting old, lol. We ended up seeing Mud, and the acting was pretty brilliant. I was exhausted and wanted to crash directly after the movie, but was ironically kept awake by the strip of nearby venues that we initially planned on going to. I guess that's what I get for being a party pooper.

First Saturday

After waiting on countless lists and several painful phone calls, I finally tracked down a small black Celine trapeze in drummed leather. I was long overdue for a bag update, I know. My last bag purchase was almost eight months ago and that was my antigona, and she's taken a beating. I also updated my sunnies with this Number One style from Karen Walker. I'm loving how my somewhat newish boots compliment my new bag oh so well. Definitely foreseeing a lot of monotony going with these two in future posts. All about the bang for the buck.
