All Black

Not very spring appropriate, but I've been craving all black ensembles lately. I blame it on the California "May Gray" weather that we've been experiencing. I wore two black newbies yesterday, this killer stud top from Lovers + Friends (convincing myself that I need it in white now) and this pair of genetic denim that is easily becoming my new favorite. My new Saint Laurent boots have been conveniently glue to my feet since they arrived on Friday. Best boot purchase, ever!

This is the blazer to the matching pants that I wore in Sundays post. The initial plan was to layer them together, but I bailed last minute before heading to a lunch meeting. Print on print fright, I suppose, lol. I'm wearing all recycled pieces, including these Rag & Bone pants that have been conveniently glued to my legs since yesterday morning. The plan for tonight is to consume as much burger lounge take out as my stomach will hold, and attempt to stay awake for a movie in bed, which never works out in my favor, because I crash in the first thirty minutes. What are you guys up to tonight?

Chunky Knit

I schlepped around town yesterday in this cozy chunky knit to run errands. Highly recommend for the price. I wore it with my favorite leather pants from Tart Collections, which I'm going to miss dearly once the weather starts to heat up. My goal was to take it easy this weekend, but I had a late dinner last night, and I'm typing this post in a red silk dress and heels, and unfortunately, that doesn't lead to me hanging out on my couch. But hey, there's always next weekend for some R&R.

This is my latest addition to my Bella Dahl blouse collection. Does this count as adding some color? Probably not, but this is me trying. And how cool is this Vanessa Mooney brass sword necklace? Super handy in case you need to go to battle during your workday. Even more handy if you own the silver one as a back up, lol.

I'm totally smitten with these printed pants from Shona Joy, so much so that they've been glued to legs for the past two days. Am I the only one guilty of this? I mean it's so easy when they're fresh on top of the laundry pile. I changed out my tee, of course. Is it me or am I posing like a zombie in this photo? I have this obsession with the AMC series, The Walking Dead, and zombies in general, and I really think that I'm a dead ringer for one in this photo sans the decaying flesh, lol. Creepy.

My Chloe Susanna boots have been conveniently glued to my feet ever since they arrived last Tuesday. I knew instantly that this was one of the best purchases that I have ever made. Insane craftsmanship, buttery soft leather, and every detail is beyond perfection. Obsessed would be putting it lightly. Happy happy camper!

I have officially discovered the best boyfriend jeans on the planet, and they're from Asos, and you all need a pair, I promise. I own many pairs, but they've all been on a wham bam thank you ma'am basis, until I discovered this amazing find. I wore them with my new AA sweater (which I need in black now, too, shocker, I know) and my favorite black accessories for a little schlepping around errand running kind of day. I couldn't have been any more cozy. Even in my PJ's.

I'm completely taken by this rosetta print from the Bec & Bridge High Summer Collection. There were so many gorgeous pieces with this print to choose from, that it was very challenging to narrow it down to just one. Even though they're from their summer collection, I'm finding myself wearing them very comfortably in fall/winter. Pairing them up with all black accessories definitely did the trick.

If you were obsessed with the Marant Renell jeans like I was a few seasons back, then you'll be excited to know that you can find an inspired pair here and here from Minusey. I lost in a few bidding wars for the real deal on feeBay, so was stoked when Minusey sent me these. A perfect, affordable replacement if you ask me. Definitely needing the black now.
